Top 10 Books that Stayed with Me

1. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho – Pinakaunang libro na nabasa ko by Paulo Coelho and I fell in love. As in literally fell in love with the story, the characters and the writer. Parang ito yung aking guiding light ek-ek at ang aking paboritong quote mula sa libro ay ” When you want something in the world, all the the universe will conspire in helping you achieve it” at ito ngayon ay ang aking life mantra.  #chos Balak ko nga ipatattoo ang quote na ito buti still don’t kow where. To always remind me to hold on to my dreams and never give up. The Alchemist started my fandom to Paulo Coelho

2. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery- Nabasa ko ang librong ito noong Fourth Year High School ako dahil required kaming basahin ito bilang book report. It speaks about love and innocence. When I look in the sky at night, the stars would always remind me of him watching over us from his little planet πŸ™‚

3. Tuesdays with Moorie by Mitch Albom – I first read  The Five People You Meet in Heaven, pero mas ito yung tumatak sa akin. I wish I could find a teacher as great as him.

5. Who Moved My Cheese? By Spencer Johnson – This book was recommended to me by Sir Gadz during the timewhen I can’t seem to move on at nahihirapan akong i-acceptang mga bagong pangyayari sa buhay ko. Reading this is an eye opener for me, this taught me na wag matakot sa pagbabago kundi iembrace ito ng open arms, dahil there is always a rainbow after the rain (relate?) hehe.

6. Veronica Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho – At dahil nga inlove na ako kay Paulo Coelho, I bought a collection of all his works and this book is one of my fave. It speaks about living and dying at the same time.

7. Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin – I find this influential in my life cause by the time I am reading this, I am so not happy. This book gave me ideas on how to be happy even in simple things like folding/arranging your closet to singing a song in the morning to boost your energy, at madami pang iba πŸ™‚ Masarap itong basahin lalo na kapag nagmumuni-muni ka kung ano ba talaga gagawin mo sa buhay mo πŸ™‚

8. Your Past does not define your future by Bo Sanchez – I fell in love with Bo when I first read a Kerygma Magazine in 2007. And then ayun nung nag-aaral ako ay sa pambili ng libro nya napupunta ang allowance ko. For me he is one of the best preacher, he does not only preaches about life but the love of God. I so admirehim for all the things that he has been doing lalona yung mga charity works nya. Dumaan sya sa harap ko,during one of The Feasts in PICC and I just stood there na parang kandila. Oh well papel, at least nakita ko na sya, pero di man lang ako nakapagpapicture 😦

9. Manuscript Found in Accra by Paulo Coelho – Isa sa latest book na ni Paulo before Adultery. Para itong Tuesdays with Moorie na it teaches about life and how to deal the different aspects of life echos.

10. Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff Syllabus by Richard Carlson – Don’t Sweat the small stuff, this is what I always say kapag a simple stuff pisses me off (although maraming beses na pumuputok talaga ako. Iba-ibang ways to deal with stress with money, family and even just the simple stuff na akala mo ay wala lang pero pag-naipon malaki rin pala ang epekto na maaring makasira na araw mo at ng relationships mo with other people.

Okey Nightzzz :p
